Father's Day banners

I used Paper Pennants and Street signs Cricut cartridges for the We ❤️ Daddy.  Becky Higgins project life cards with photos for the middle banner and a pennant punch by EK success for the small, top banner.

Happy Halloween!!

I love the Cricut cartridge called Word Collage!  I dug it out the other day to make something to add to my Halloween decor.  Let me know what you think!!

I know I could have just printed a free sign I found on Pinterest, but it is just too fun to do it yourself sometimes!  Check out my Easter collage here!

Easter Decor

I have been working on my Easter display this year.  I almost have it done.
It just needs one more thing...not sure what that is yet!

This is probably the cutest thing I have ever made. (I will have to post a better picture.)
I used the Word Collage cricut cartridge

I filled a hurricane full of shredded pastel paper.  I normally don't like these colors but they work so well with the rest of my Easter decorations.  (I bought the paper at Office Depot for 2 cents a sheet.)

Blue and Gold

I was in charge of our Pack's Blue and Gold this year and was hard pressed to find a lot of cute decorating ideas.   I have been working on a very simple pack scrapbook so I displayed some of the pages for our most recent events on our display board.  I also made little scouts using my Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge:

We meet in a very old Moose Lodge.  They are our Charter organization and we can hold our banquet there for free.  I made this backdrop to go on the stage out of the coat rack they have on hand.  It covers up the most watercolor of a older husband and wife gazing at each other (?).

The 12 Days of Christmas (in Feburary?)

I finally finished a project I started last November!  I can't wait to include it in my Christmas decor next year.

Happy Fall!

I love the color combo and simplicity of this card.  Happy fall!!

These are the  little maple cookie gifts that go with the card.  I had a tough time not eating all of these delectable cookies.  They are one of my favorite treats from Trader Joes!

Sample a simple Christmas

I am hosting another card night at my church. This time it is Christmas cards (yeah!)  The goal is to give everyone really simple ideas using mostly scraps and stamps to make a whole lotta cards really fast.  The only prep I do is bring some samples and all my ink, stamps, and scraps.  The guests bring their paper cutters, card backs, and adhesive.  Most of the women who come have made cards and stamped before so I can just enjoy making my own cards and, mostly, have fun with my friends!  Here are some of the card ideas for the night:

This card is the definition of simple!  I cut the the ornament out with the Joys of the Season cartridge on the cricut and stamped directly onto the paper.

Supplies: cardstock (Very Vanilla, Stampin Up; River Rock, Stampin Up), patterned paper (Ornamental Christmas, The Paper Studio), ink (Baja Breeze, Stampin Up; River Rock, Stampin Up), ornament (Joys of the Season, Cricut), stamp (Hero Arts)

A really easy way to achieve a simple but complete look is to cut out images from the scraps of paper and then adhere them on top of the same image on your card with pop dot.  This card looks a little more complicated but the techniques are really simple.

Supplies: cardstock (kraft, The Paper Studio; Pear Pizzaz, Stampin Up), patterned paper (Oh Christmas Tree, My Minds Eye), ink (Cranberry Crisp, Stampin Up), die (Top Note Die, Stampin Up), stamps (Stampin Up)

Monsters

Lukie's teacher asked me to make her some Halloween goodies for her board in the hallway at school.  I absolutely love the monsters on the Cricut Mini Monsters cartridge so I knew exactly what to do!  Here are a few of the cutest girl monsters...

And here are the boys...

Versatile layout...

I made a little scrapbook of the grandkids for my mom while visiting her in Wisconsin. With the scraps from the book we made several of the following cards. They all have the same simple layout which made it easy to make a big fat stack to fill my emptying card box.
